The Palm Monorail Overview

The Palm Monorail is open to the public and offers residents & visitors of the Palm a leisurely and scenic voyage throughout all its landmark destinations. The Palm Monorail spans the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah and operates across four stations, connecting the Gateway station at the entry to the Palm, the Atlantis Aquaventure station at the other end of the island, as well as Golden Mile Station and the Nakheel Mall Station.

Originally inaugurated in 2009, the 5.45 km monorail line is the only public transportation system on the Palm Jumeirah and the most iconic way to explore all the wonders of the Palm. The Palm Monorail delivers best in class views of Dubai and customer experience for tourists and residents of Dubai. This convenient method of transportation offers an express journey to ease connectivity and link tourists, and the wider Palm community to unbeatable destinations.

Whether shopping at Nakheel Mall, experiencing the recently launched world largest Fountain at The Point, or checking in at The Atlantis, take the scenic route across the Palm’s many attractions in nine minutes - quicker than a car, taxi or bus. The Palm Monorail is open 7 days a week and runs at regular intervals from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm.

The Palm Monorail Important Information

·         All guests must have a valid ticket or e-ticket for travel and be ready to present it upon request.

·         Tickets are non-transferable and should be kept safe, as lost or stolen tickets may not be reissued.

·         Guests are required to comply with all safety instructions and directions from Palm Monorail staff at all times.

·         Security checks, including bag inspections, may be conducted before entry or boarding.

·         In case of emergencies, guests must follow evacuation procedures and staff directions promptly.

·         Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.

·         Palm Monorail reserves the right to refuse service to any guest acting inappropriately or endangering others.

·          Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and use of illegal substances are not allowed on trains or within station premises.

·         Guests are encouraged to maintain good hygiene and, if required by health authorities, adhere to any social distancing or mask-wearing protocols.

·         Guests requiring special assistance should contact staff in advance.

·         Palm Monorail is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property during travel.

·         Schedules and operations may change without prior notice due to operational needs or unforeseen circumstances.
